Before the APK entrepreneurship day, I am accessories department member, so I have go to Midvalley, 1 Utama, Jaya One, Tropicana Mall to compare the price of glass, cover glass, plastic and others.
Other than that, I also go to find the ice box in pasar pagi in seksyen 17, but unfortunately, the hawker don’t want sell it to me because she also want to use the box. Besides that, I have deal with the seller for buy the banner cloth in a cheapest price. After that, we stay back in Z’aba do our banner, standee, menu list, table cloth and cut and stick our company’s sticker in the cup from 5pm to 2am. 2 am u know??!! very late!! this is the 1st time i stay in fpp until 2 am.. i still remember that time i keep blame+ing other committee why so early go back.. actually if let me take out my cons.. i think i am willing to stay back.. the cons make me uncomfortable~
On the APK entrepreneurship that day, I have bring the round and long extension and company sticker to go to KPS. Once the sushi has come, we stick all the sushi box with our company sticker. We have divided our stall to 5 parts. Which is cashier part which is receive money, coupon, order for juice, and placed our different types of sushi let customer to choose. Next juice maker part, we have watermelon juice, orange juice, carrot juice, apple juice. We also have offer mix juice, which is orange mix with apple or orange mix with carrot. Most customers like to mix orange with carrot. So, in 1 day, our carrot has finish stock and not available in the next day. Next, blended and placed ice part.
Blended part is not same part with juice part. This is because blended need many ice to produce, so it must placed with ice while juice part placed with fruits so that our committee can easily to take our ingredients, make our process of juice and ice blended can smoothly go through. Next part is placed our committee personal belonging like bags. And last but not least, cleaner part. We have placed a dustbin and a pair of clean water to let our committee to wash their hand, ingredient and also their equipment.
Before we start our business, we hang all the banner, table cloth, standy to attract customer come and step in our stall. I have take many position in this entrepreneurship day like cashier, the job scope is received the money from customer and show the customer the prize for different sushi pack. If the customers want to redeem the coupon, we need to jot down the number of the coupon, because we also held a lucky draw. There have 10 lucky persons. Once the number of the coupon match with the lucky number that our committee, he or she will get another set of sushi + juice. Next, in juice maker part, each glass of juice contains a fruit. For example, orange juice, the procedure is put an orange in the juice maker, pour 2 teaspoon of sugar water and water until half of the glass then put the ice until the cup is full the put the glass cover then can sell to our customer. In blended part, we only offer mango blended. At first, we need to pour 1 glass of ice into a blended machine, then add 2 or 3 piece of mango slice, pour 3 to 4 teaspoon of sugar water, then blended it.
As we just started our business, we found out that the sugar water is not sufficient to support our daily business because we have received too many order of juices. So kok yong (one of committee) and I go and buy sugar and cook it let it melt in kok yong house(ss2). After we finish it, we back to our stall and continue our business. When we want to continue, we need to pour the mango favour to water sugar, we found out that the mango favour is lost. On the other hand, other committee also say that lack of ice, so, kok yong, kean leng and I go to ss2 buy the mango favour and ice back to our stall.
The next day, we divided to 2 groups which is 1 group is stay in KPS the main stall and the others go roadshow. We have take different pack of sushi go to faculty education, faculty sastera, faculty economic, faculty business and accountancy and last but not least our UM main library to sell our sushi in outside KPS.
